Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. The mother of her child is English and her father Nigerian. She was raised on the south London Council Estate and attended The Brit School aged 14. It was the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art was where she received the BA in acting. At the academy was when she performed in various stage plays, including King Henry V as Princess Katherine as well as Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. In the years since, she's been a guest star on Teachers, Doctors, Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream. It was opposite Colin Farrell (who played the character of Cassandra) and Ewan McGrath. Her success has led her to be cast in Elisha in a single-off BBC Three drama West 10 LDN pilot. Later, she appeared in the six-episode series Trexx and Flipside as Ollie. She was Bambi in the ITV2 series Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe made an appearance in the 2008 Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Affect People. Her credits in theatre comprise Little Sweet Thing by Roy Williams as well as Flight Path by David Watson.
Madekwe's US debut came in 2009 with the dramatic The Beautiful Life. The show aired just two episodes before being cancelled on The CW. In February, she was cast 2011 as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe appeared in all episodes of the show's first two seasons as an regular. In May of 2013, word broke that the actress would leave the show after her guest appearance on the premiere episode of its third season. In the TV series Salem, she played Tituba between 2014 and 2016. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and he also played a part with her on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat was born in Hamilton, Ontario, into the extended family of a huge, large. Her parents, Roy and Patty, as well as her four brothers, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's four brothers, who were all extremely athletic, played hockey in the winter and baseball during the summers, meaning that she grew up playing in baseball and arenas. Ashley did not have the ability to walk, but she danced. When she turned two-and-a-half she began Baby Ballet and fell in the love. Ashley discovered a love for dancing shortly after she joined Baby Ballet. Ashley continued to dance competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop and many more. Ashley took home the best soloist honor at each major dance event, such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more, just to mention a few.
