LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball player who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known as King James he is widely thought to be one of the best players of all time and is often compared to Michael Jordan in debates over the greatest basketball player in history. James was awarded two Olympic golds and four NBA championships. James is an NBA All-Star and has the highest number of playoff points. He also has the second-highest point total and the seventh best ever assist number. This is an NBA record for him to be an NBA All-Star for 18 years. He participated in more than 10 NBA Finals, the third-most of all time. The streak spans eight consecutive years between 2011-2018. James was selected to an NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's very first player to have scored 10,000+ points, rebounds, and assists throughout his career. He will be the first to do so in 2022. James played basketball in St. Vincent St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. The national media celebrated him as an NBA superstar. In 2003 his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers took him first during the NBA draft as a prep-topro. As the NBA rookie of the year 2004, he established himself rapidly as one of the best athletes in the league, winning the NBA MVP award for 2009 and 2010. James, who was unable to take home the title at Cleveland in 2010 quit as a free-agent and joined his team the Miami Heat. This was revealed by the book The Decision. It is one of the most controversial choices made by a player who was a free agent time.
